about
Our Club
Putney Town Rowing Club is a friendly community of rowers based on the River Thames in London. Established in 1922, we moved from Putney in the 80's to a more spacious, dedicated facility in the shadow of Chiswick Bridge.
Growing from 30 to over 300 members since then, we are proudly run by a dedicated team of volunteers in all aspects of our club. To find out more, check out our history page or why not pop down and visit us - contact the appropriate squad coordinator through the squad pages.

We unfortunately don't have a dedicated setup for juniors. We do welcome juniors who would like to cox and those who have already learnt to row to a performance level. This is on a case by case basis.
We are unable to accommodate under 18 rowers on our learn to row programmes.
If you are interested in rowing with the club and are a junior, please contact the club captain.
