As we transition into the new season, it's the perfect time to do some much-needed housekeeping. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be asking all crews to inspect our club’s fleet and equipment for any signs of wear and tear. This includes conducting general maintenance and making necessary repairs. By doing this, we can help the Fleet Committee budget effectively and prioritise essential work ahead of the upcoming races and winter outings.
Our Current Focus: 4s for Fours Head
Our maintenance efforts for the next two weeks will kick off this weekend, with a focus on the 4s used for Fours Head of the River Race. Open or shared boat checks will be coordinated through your squad coordinators, so please be on the lookout for instructions.
How to Participate: Follow the Checklist
To make the process as smooth as possible, we’ve prepared a checklist to guide you through the inspection. You’ll find a blank copy in a folder at the back of the boathouse. Once you’ve completed your inspection, please take a picture of the checklist and share it with your coordinator. The paper version should be left in the folder on the workbench.
Independent Rowers
If you’re an independent rower and have some free time, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could help check the open-use singles or doubles. Your assistance would be invaluable.
Further Detail
More detailed instructions and assignments will be shared through your squad coordinators, so keep an eye out for those communications.

Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to keeping our fleet in top condition.
