SUMMER RACING ROUND-UP

4th May: Wallingford 

Senior men raced the Dorney course in two 8s and a 4+ with Kat and Scott coxing. The first 8 was only a couple of seconds off the final, all crews came up against strong competition and strong cross winds!

10th May: Nottingham City Regatta Race

The Senior Women's squad had a brilliant day at Nottingham City Regatta with three 4s and an 8. Two 4s made it to the finals, with the A crew finishing 4th in their first race and 3rd in the rematch after adjusting steering. The 8+ delivered a solid performance despite tough competition. Thanks to Gavin for trailering and special kudos to Izzie, our newest recruit, who competed in three 2k races. 

11th May: Ron Eggleton Race

The single scullers race set off from pink lodge to the club starting at 9am. There were 9 men and 6 women rowing the course. Winners were Aba C and Alex M with adjusted times. All athletes did very well to navigate the low tide and head wind. Thanks to Beth for doing a great job leading on timings. Thanks to Paul, Emily, Lou and Boris for marshalling. Daniel took the lead on the race organisation and arranged brunch afterwards. 

24 May: Twickenham Regatta

The Masters Men and Women, Senior Women, Development Men and Women went off pot hunting upstream at Twickenham Regatta.
